Many of today’s teens and adults have been waiting years to see a continuation of the popular Nickelodeon show Zoey 101.

For those that are confused about the importance of this event, Zoey 101 was a very big show around the early 2000’s and the fact that one of the biggest cliffhangers in finally answered is definitely a big deal.

10 years ago, around this time, Zoey 101 aired an episode called “Time Capsule” where Zoey (Jamie Lynn Spears), recorded how she felt about one of her closet friends Chase, (Sean Flynn), who happened to have a big crush on her. She put the recording in a time capsule to be opened in 10 years.

10 years later, Dan Schneider, the creator of Zoey 101, got the the cast together to put together what Zoey actually said in her recording. The video started off with Chase at a diner about to propose to someone, until Michael, an old friend of both Zoey and Chase, ran into the diner talking about the CD.

The big reveal was that Zoey said in the video that she believed that Chase was her soulmate. After Chase heard the big news he rushed out the diner in hopes of finding Zoey.

The long awaited continuation ended with yet another cliffhanger. The video closes with a black screen that has the words “to be continued” panning across the screen.

This is definitely a big moment for many teens, and it is leaving them looking forward to what’s going to be happening next.

“I waited so long!” said Junior Sidney Guillaume. “Hopefully I’m not in my 20’s when I find out what happens next.”
