The rap group Migos consists of three members Offset, Quavo and Takeoff. They got their start in Atlanta. Migos has taken the music world by storm since the release of their first huge hit Versace and Bando in 2013. This is their sophomore album and they are not showing any signs of slowing down. Their song Bad and Boujee is number one on the Billboard hot 100, number five on iTunes, and playing practically on everyone’s phone. Their album is currently holding steady at number one on iTunes.
Songs on this album feature artists DJ Khaled, Lil Uzi Vert, Gucci Mane, 2 Chains and Travis Scott, most of which will be perfoming at Rolling Loud in Miami, in May along side Migos.
The songs on the album are all very upbeat and on repeat. The song T-Shirt is about their mom talking about them straightening up but they want to “trap” which means acting like a criminal. Culture is the intro to the album talking about how they are representing the “culture from the streets.” Brown Paper Bag is about taking another man’s girl and “flexing” on others. All I have to say is all the songs on this album are hits and can get everyone hype.
