Once an artist has been skyrocketed to fame and stratum, they often view themselves as Gods. Lamar sends a message to artists, politicians, religious leaders, actors and all of the sort in HUMBLE to, “Sit down, be humble.” He even makes this clear as a musical artist in his music video by mimicking the last supper and placing himself in the middle as jesus and other scenes as the Pope. This was the first single to be released off of his album DAMN, it clearly shows how Lamar feels about his industry and the people of high power.

Israel Taylor, Entertainment Editor
I'm Israel: the president of my thespian troop 3997, lover of movies, art, music and pop culture. I can proudly say I'm always prepared with the dankest memes. This is is my first year in newspaper and I'm also the entertainment editor, not to brag. I'm also a very outspoken person which often comes off as abrasive and blunt but usually I mean well because I'm transparent about my passions and the success of others.
