Your favorite blonde pop singer known for her popular songs about heartbreak is currently on tour: Taylor Swift! I’m sure you’ve either heard more about this tour than you’re willing or you’re a swiftie just as millions of others are. But, either way, here I am to add to the never-ending information about this dazzling tour.
For Taylor Swift’s sixth tour in five years, she has decided to make it an “All Eras Tour.” Her previous tours including the Fearless Tour (2009-2010), the Speak Now World Tour (2011-2012), the Red Tour (2013-2014), the 1989 World Tour (2015), the Reputation Stadium Tour (2018), now to the current “All Eras Tour.” This means that during her concert she will be performing songs from each of her “eras” or albums. She also dedicates a specific time during her concert to perform two “surprise songs” that are not included in the 44-song setlist. Because of this, fans dress up in their favorite “era” and they’ve been getting very creative with the feathers, sequins, and cowboy boots.
The All Eras Tour is worldwide. The countries she has stopped in are Japan, Australia, Singapore, France, Sweden, Italy, and many more. This tour is a top contender to be the highest-grossing tour since Elton John’s “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” which grossed over $887 million according to Diario AS. With Taylor Swift earning a great deal of money each show every other night, it is predicted that the tour to make $1 billion as stated by Fortune (hopefully she can spare a couple of thousand for me).
I interviewed a dedicated Swifite who attended one of Taylor Swift’s shows in Tampa, FL. The first question I asked was how was her experience at the concert. She responded with “[The] best night of my life. I would so do it again like a million times, it was truly so amazing. She did such a good job and went above and beyond with her performances.” I also asked about her opinion on the ticket prices and if they were worth it. She replied, “the prices are so worth it, I would pay anything to go.” The last thing I questioned her about was if she faced any issues in the crowd and how the energy was. The response from her was, “The vibes were so positive. All the girls are singing together and relating to her music and are loving the performance just as much as you are. Seeing people making friends and giving friendship bracelets to one another was so sweet.”
Although the concert tickets are pricey, it truly is a one-in-a-lifetime experience, to the phenomenal show Taylor Swift puts on with her visuals and outfits, her amazing singing, and the energetic crowd making it a sight to behold!
