How well is the switch from Windows 7 to Windows 8 going? The transition between the two isn’t smooth at all; there are so many new features, and hardly any of them are the features everyone is familiar with. The features were designed with easy access in mind, but maybe Microsoft shot too far.

I’ve read my fair share of reviews on the new Windows 8 software, and opinions are split right down the middle. Some people think that the new setup is convenient and fun, while others think it’s over complicated. One thing that cannot be over-looked is the lack of a start button, and the inconvenience it poses for people who type often.

“I think that Windows 8 is inconvenient and awful,” said Senor Alexis Nina.

Along with this new change, the annual announcement from Apple has come out. There will be an iPhone 5C, and an iPhone 5S. The iPhone 5C comes in 5 different colors, and the starting price is $99. Apple is hoping to help increase the sales in China and other countries that don’t have the budget for a phone that we Americans have.

The iPhone 5S on the other hand will come in silver, gold, and space grey. The chip has been upgraded from an A6 to an A7 which is twice as fast. Many new features have been added to the camera to take better pictures as well.

Whether it’s for the better or the worse, the technological world continues to expand and advance and before you know it there’ll be flying cars.
