The Senior Awards Night recognized the accomplishments of many seniors. Hosted by Athletic Director Livingston, the ceremony began with a performance from the chorus.

Academic awards were given to students who were nominated by their teachers. Academy awards were medallions, given to students who completed an academy. Scholarships were passed to seniors from colleges, sororities, and fraternities who recognized their excellence. The Principal’s Scholarship, Outstanding Students, and Turnaround Student of the Year awards were trophies.

The upperclassmen’s final day as chiefs is graduation on Wednesday, May 21, as they walk across the stage and begin the next part of their lives as adults.
