On Friday, February 13th, the Armory Art Center honored this year’s Scholastic Art and Writing Award winners. Winners came from both Palm Beach and Martin County and were praised for being the most amount of winners that the center had seen yet. Winners received awards ranging from Honorable Mentions, Silver Keys, and Gold Keys. Family members and award recipients alike gathered around the museum, eager to view their artwork.

The exhibition was packed, not an empty space on walls filled to the brim with artwork. Viewers wandered around eagerly, excited to see their family member’s and children’s art honored in such a way.

Santaluces’ own students were even honored in this event. Gold Key recipients, seniors Adie Gonzalez, Deseree Jacques, Grace Almanza, and Eli Najera were among the artists displayed at the event.
