Prom Dresses for a Good Cause

Chorus teacher Mr. Andreacchio (known mostly as Mr. A.) is in charge of the prom dress donations here on campus. The Santaluces Chorus has performed for the Junior League of the Palm Beaches numerous times in the past and with finding out that Santaluces was a Title I school, they put together a prom dress drive for our school.
“At first we charged $10 to rent the dresses so that we could get them dry cleaned after,” said Mr. A. “But now it’s free and we just want them to donate the dresses when they’re done with them, and pay it forward.”
Located in the chorus room, a clothes rank is filled with prom dresses up for grabs by anyone who is unable to afford a new prom dress. As Mr. A. said, the dresses are available for free, however anyone looking to take the dresses must then donate it afterwards as a way of giving back to the community.
