To the naked eye, this photo may seem like one of an ordinary star, but look closer and you’ll see Jupiter and Saturn aligned. The Great Conjunction is when the planets Jupiter and Saturn appear closest together in the night sky.  The Great Conjunction took place on December 21st, 2o2o. A Conjunction of this close proximity hasn’t taken place since the year 1226.
