As a Senior who has decided to attend prom, I understand the struggle of attempting to find a cute and affordable dress that fits your vision. Many dresses may check off every requirement on your list but can be a bit pricey when it comes to alterations and purchasing heels and accessories that pair well.
The goal of Becca’s Closet is to collect dress donations and distribute them to students with financial needs. The organization also offers the Becca’s Closet Spirit of Generosity Scholarship, Becca’s Closet Involvement Scholarship, and the Becca’s Closet Drittel Family Scholarship for high school Seniors with a 2.0 GPA or higher, has involvement in their community/Becca’s closet, will attend a 2 or 4-year college/university in the fall after high school graduation, and is a US citizen, legal resident.
If you don’t need of a prom dress, don’t miss the opportunity to help in the process of distributing them to others by completing a volunteer sign-up form on Becca’s Closet website today. You can also choose to donate your prom dress by visiting the website and clicking on the “donate a dress” option on the home page.
Junior and Senior Chiefs are welcome to pick up a prom packet in the guidance office and fill it out before purchasing tickets in front of the lecture hall for $85 during 1st or 2nd lunch. The prices will rise as we get closer and closer to prom so be sure to purchase your ticket as soon as possible. All students who have an ID, completed prom packet, $85, and no obligations can purchase tickets on any day of their choosing. If you have any questions about the prom theme or tickets don’t be afraid to contact Mrs.Harms or Mrs. Johnson. Be sure to make the most of your remaining months as a Chief and I hope to see you at the West Palm Beach Marriott on April 13th.
