Alabama, Oregon, and Florida State. All three teams eliminated with one surprise team at the top. This team was “THE Ohio State University.”After losing their top two QB’s, it was 3rd string QB Cardale Jones against the world. Although the game ended with a wide scoring margin between the two teams, it was a great game. Fast paced offense verses a ruthless, hard-hitting defense. It started out a hot for the Ducks when stud QB Marcus Mariota found Keanon Lowe in the end zone to put the Ducks up 7-0. But, 21 unanswered points and outstanding defense had the Buckeyes up 21-10 at halftime. The 2nd half was a different story, Ohio State looked shaky turning the ball over a good amount of times to the Ducks. But, the Ducks could not capitalize on the Buckeyes’ mistakes and this cost them the game. Eventually, the Buckeyes pulled away and beat the Ducks by a margin of 42-20. Overall, the game was great and it was great to see such a talented Ohio State team overcome adversity and for it to payoff.
