The Chiefs welcome back an experienced team loaded with county superstars. The boys soccer team will look to make a huge splash throughout the district.
Despite the hardship of losing seniors to graduation, the team is ready and prepared for this upcoming season. The captains will look to live up to their responsibilities and keep order among the team and will continue do so well into the season. The players will take a few games to kick in sync with one another, but give them a few weeks and they could compete against any team that takes the field against them.
The team looks ready and poised for another chance to play soccer, let’s cheer on our Chiefs November 7th, against Lake Worth Trojans.
Senior Rich Zephirin weighed in on this season.
“We’ve set our goals for this season and go day by day,” Zephirin said.” We want to bring our school the first district championship for soccer.”
Prediction
I predict the Chiefs to have twelve wins, four draws and two loses in the current 18 games scheduled. In addition, I expect a deep run in post season play.
