Chiefs returned to campus this week. Only 411 of the 2,500 Santaluces population came back. Students were met with social distancing, one-way hallways, and mask-wearing all day.

Hola, my name is Keyly Velasquez. I'm a junior this year. This is my first year partaking in the newspaper team and I'm looking forward to how this year is going to come along. I can't wait to capture the amazing things that happen around us at Santaluces Community High School. I love taking pictures of others expressing themselves and their natural beauty. I love volunteering at my church to help children understand past and present religious knowledge. I like spending time with family and going on trips. I am proud of my Latin roots and hope to show the diversity of this school and how it allows me to express my Salvadoran culture without being judged.
