The Santaluces girls volleyball team played a fundraiser game against the teachers on Monday. The girls started off strong and continued throughout to dominate the court. The first set ended with a score of 25-21 with senior Bianca Monis setting the pace with her serves. Senior Kyli Zeeman also had a few good saves along with senior Summer Becker. The second set had a score of 25-16 in favor of the girls resulting in a win. The team had good communication showing they work well together, likely leading to a good season. The teachers played good as well with Coach Brown setting and giving some hard spikes with a good fast paced energy from the whole team. The next home game is August 29th against Palm Beach Lakes.

My name is Nick, I'm a senior at Santaluces. I'm very excited for this year. I wrestle and I have just joined newspaper this year. I enjoying long walks on the beach, throwing shade at my friends, sleeping and eating good food, especially meat. I just don't get vegetarians. I dislike waking up, veggies, and the loud dog across the street from my house. Okay bye.

Hey everyone I'm Taylor, I'm a senior and this is my first year here in newspaper. I love to make people happy and I'm excited to share new experiences this coming school year and make new friends. I'm somewhat shy at first but once you get to know me, I'm sarcastic and a fun-loving person. I'm more of a listener than a talker, but when it comes to something I'm passionate about, I'm talkative and animated.
