For seniors, the year is slowly but surely coming to an end. Senior guidance counselor Mrs.Tanguay is beginning to ask seniors if they can bring in their acceptance letters from universities to her as soon possible. If seniors don’t have an acceptance letter from a university, she is also accepting emails or letters from community colleges, culinary schools, beauty schools, the military or other schools and career paths.
“I want to make sure that when you leave this place, you have a plan.” said Mrs.Tanguay.
If some seniors do not plan to go to a university or any kind of school after graduation, their caps will still be displayed in front of the main office, but they will be displayed later on in the year.
Her reasoning behind this isn’t just so she can know your secondary plan, but also because there will be a school-wide pep rally where everyone in the school will gather together and seniors that have their plan will be recognized for their accomplishment.
The date of this pep-rally is still to be announced and other activities that will take place during this pep-rally are still under wraps.
