Hey Chiefs! Do you want college to be easier for you? If so, I would suggest doing dual enrollment. This is because dual enrollment can give you many opportunities and advantages like:
- Early Start to College- Instead of having to take these classes in college you can take them in high school and still get the credit. You can start as early as freshmen year and as late as senior year, so Chiefs it’s not too late.
- Free Courses- The best part about Dual Enrollment is that all the classes you take are free. Not only are the classes free, but so are the resources used in said classes like the textbooks. This will save not only your money, but your parents money as well.
- Graduate High School with an AA (Associates in Arts)- If you start Dual Enrollment in high school you can graduate with an AA which would mean you would only have to do another two years of college outside of high school. Making you a college graduate at only 20 years old!
- An Early Feel for College- As you take these classes in high school you can determine whether you want to continue college outside of high school. Depending on if the classes are too overwhelming or fairly easy you can make your decision easily.
I hope these tips have helped your decision! I honestly think you should do it, it is an amazing opportunity that not every high school student gets!
