“It was my sophomore year, and I was on the JV basketball team. We were in the championship tournament playing Dwyer High school. The game was very tough at first and it seemed like the referee was cheating because of the foul counts. It was about 31 fouls to two, and we had the game I was playing excellent defense and I was keeping my teammates motivated. We were coming back from all of the fouls but each time we got close enough, the ref would call more fouls. Soon people who would normally never foul would get fouled out. It ended up being a close game, but unfortunately, we lost.”
