As a junior, it’s important that I start looking at colleges and exploring my options.
Santaluces took a trip down to Miami, where we visited FIU (Florida International University). Thanks to Bound for College, me and about 40 of my peers were able to tour the university. Overall, the field trip was a pretty good experience. We went over the basics, including tuition, and gave us a tour of the buildings, such as the Business building, College of Law building, and the Graham Building. My favorite part of the whole tour was seeing the huge variety of buildings and learning about the many different things people can study and do throughout the campus. I personally don’t see myself attending this school, because I don’t want to be so close to home, but FIU is a beautiful campus overall. The dorms are very cute and versatile, the school has over 32 options of food choices, and has many campuses that accommodate different majors. All in all, FIU is an amazing school that offers many opportunities for all of its students.
