Marine court recruiters visited Santaluces High School during both lunches to recruit students for the marines. They came from Lake Worth to present the Marines as an alternative to college and the workforce. During the visit, they detailed numerous benefits to joining, including tuition assistance for college, ROTC scholarships, full medical coverage, VA home loans for purchasing a house or starting a business, and the opportunity to attend college even after serving in the Marines.
The recruiters emphasized the extensive benefits the Marines can offer while aiming to show students that there are diverse paths available beyond traditional higher education or immediate entry into the workforce. The presentation highlighted how military service can provide significant financial and personal development opportunities.
