“Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them,”  is the newest book by  J.K. Rowling and is being turned into a feature film. Warner Bros. came to her, asking to make this book into a movie as spinoff of Harry Potter.  In an interview with  The New York Times, she said that this will not be related to the Harry Potter series. The book is about a young boy, Newt Scamander who is fascinated with the mystical creatures and spells within the wizarding world. Throughout the book, it is a struggle for him to find out what creatures are out there and their abilities. One day he hopes the creatures might come to assist him in any problems.

Fans of Rowling everywhere are anticipating the new movie, which will be filmed in England, at the same location as the past films of Harry Potter have been made. On J.K. Rowling’s website, she said she was greatly anticipating the beginning of filming and scripting of this feature film. She chose this story because she felt it was a leeway for fans of Harry Potter to revisit the wizarding world. The movie will be filmed at Hogwarts, but none of the original cast of Harry Potter will be in it.

 J.K. Rowling has a contract with Warner Bros. Entertainment. There will be a mini TV series and multiple movies based on other stories she has written, such as Casual Vacancy and The Tales of the Beatle and the Bard. Warner Bros. Entertainment told Entertainment Weekly that there will be more oncoming attractions put into the Harry Potter theme parks.
