Catch Pokémon While You Explore the World
Every year, it seems like Google goes out of its way to come up with an even better April Fool’s day prank. This year, their crowning prank has a Pokémon theme.
Using the newest version of the Google Maps app you can now catch your very own Pokémon and build up a Pokédex.
It’s a very simple mechanism. Log in to the app and press the “Press start” icon decorated with a blue Pokéball. When you find a Pokémon, all you have to do to “catch” it is tap it and press catch at the bottom of your screen.
Catch all 150 available Pokémon and you’ll become Google’s honorary Pokémon Master.
