When Santaluces hosted a strategic planning meeting for the community recently, the Marching Chiefs welcomed visitors with a rendition of Carlos Santana’s “Black Magic Woman.” The Marching Chiefs preformed twice, once for the meeting focused on teachers and district employees and again for parents and community members. Along with the Marching Chiefs, students in the Criminal Justice and JROTC academies directed visitors around campus and thanked them for coming. Before each meeting, the Reflections chorus sang the National Anthem and the school’s alma mater.
