Santaluces SGA attended the first District meeting of the year at Royal Palm Beach High School. SGA district meetings are held in parliamentary procedure. They consist of old business, new business, unfinished business and motivational speakers.

All of the student government classes in district 5 are invited. Elementary schools, Middle schools and High schools attend.

Information on the district project, state project, and a swap shop of ideas were discussed. District project is starting a Community Closet at your school to help students in need of food, clothes, and shoes. The state project is volunteering to help the special olympics.

The swap shop of ideas is when each student would get into a groups of 10-15 with people from different schools and talk about what their school does for health and safety, faculty/staff relations, school spirit, school service, and membership motivation.

The meeting ended with music, pizza and dancing. The next district meeting will be December 9th at Palm Beach Central High School.
