This past week, category 4 hurricane Harvey devastated Texas with intense, non-stop downpour and winds.  Hundreds of thousands of people are displaced by more than 50 inches of rain that caused severe flooding. At least 30 are confirmed dead and many more are still missing.

Many charities and organizations have rose to the occasion to provide support, however, there are people who are posing as charities, but are using the donations to benefit themselves.

For those who would like to assist the victims of the hurricane, Santaluces SGA is collecting donations during lunch and these organizations are legitimate ways to help:
