Football season is still up and coming and can go in any teams favor but for these past weeks, there have been three teams that set there place at the top five teams.

#1: The San Francisco 49ers

The 49ers set the tone for week one by ending the game with a score of 30-7 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. They started off the game with a 54-yard touchdown by Brandon Aiyuk followed by a field goal. They shut down the competition by ending the game with a field goal to end the game. The 49ers proceeded to annihilate the competition by beating the Dallas Cowboys 42-10! They began with a touchdown by George Kittle in the first four minutes of the game. They ended up not receiving any extra points but that did not stop them from going out with a bang. They won the game with a final 26-yard touchdown by Jordan Mason. They have put their mark these first five weeks and will continue for the rest of the season.

#2: Philadelphia Eagles

Although they are in second place, just like the 49ers they have a 5-0 win streak. They began their first game with the New England Patriots with a 61-yard field goal by their kicker, Jack Elliott. Throughout the game, they ended up scoring two touchdowns and four field goals. Although the Patriots were able to make the last play of the game, it was not enough to prevent the Eagles from winning with a score of 25-20. In game five, the Eagles did not disappoint at the start of the game with a 75-yard touchdown against the Los Angeles Rams. They kicked the competition out of the park by ending with a field goal and finishing the game with a score of 23-14.

# 3: Kansas City Chiefs

Unlike the rest of the teams on this list, the Chiefs have a 4-1 win streak. In the Chief’s first game against the Detroit Lions, they did not score until the 2nd quarter with a touchdown by Rashee Rice. Sadly, they did lose with a final score of 21-20 with David Montgomery scoring the final touchdown. Unlike the first game, they did not fail to persevere in their 5th match against the Minnesota Vikings. In the first four minutes, they managed to score a 45-yard touchdown by Isiah Pacheco. Although the Vikings were able to score the last touchdown, it was not enough to beat the Chiefs winning 27-20.

The NFL season is just starting and there will always be teams competing to make that top-three list.
