The Santaluces Chiefs football team is making waves in the 2023 FHSAA Football State Championships this year. After a spectacular home playoff victory against the Palm Beach Gardens Gators, the Chiefs, with an overall record of 8-3, are emerging as a formidable contender in the tournament.

Chiefs’ 35-28 win over Palm Beach Gardens showed their defensive and strategic skills. They displayed a balanced performance throughout the game, setting the stage for an exciting playoff run. Chiefs now turn their attention to a formidable opponent, Monarch, who is scheduled to play at Deerfield Beach High School on November 17th.

In the upcoming showdown between the Santaluces Chiefs and Monarch Knights, Monarch, boasting a formidable 9-2 record, showcases an explosive offense, racking up an impressive 3,029 passing yards and a striking 19.6 yards per reception. Their defense is equally formidable, amassing 430 total tackles and 40.5 sacks. Conversely, the Santaluces Chiefs, with an 8-3 record, present a well-balanced approach with 1,859 passing yards and 857 rushing yards. The Chiefs’ defense, marked by consistency, recorded 365 solo tackles and 14 sacks.

As these formidable teams brace for a high-stakes game, Monarch’s offensive firepower clashes with Santaluces’ strong defense, setting the stage for an intense gridiron battle where each side seeks to leverage its strengths for victory.
