Spirit week opened up with Twin Day on Monday. Students took advantage of the 2 for 1 sales at local thrift shops in an attempt to look as close as possible to their would-be twins.  From mirror images to Thing 1 and Thing 2 the variety of twins were endless.  This year’s outfits were so convincing that people during lunch would mistake others for their friends.

“It’s our last year so I thought we should go out with a bang,” said senior Deondre Frederick, who was dressed as a minion from the movie “Despicable Me” along with his friend Nick Thomas.

When it comes to spirit week at Santaluces, there’s never a shortage of participation. Starting off with Twin Day seems to set a good tempo for the rest of the week.
