Chiefs celebrated Halloween 2013 all across campus. Face paint, dresses and vibrant colors were everywhere, including cops, fairies, and monsters running around in between classes. The campus had an air of excitement as everyone prepared for Halloween night.
Many students dressed in spirit of Halloween – some as scary as zombies, some as funny as a group of bananas. Couples and best friends wore matching costumes together, and even the Early Childhood’s Little Chiefs wore costumes and went trick-or-treating around the school.
During both lunches, SGA hosted a Halloween costume contest. Entries were lined up, signed in as their name, grade, and costume, and took pictures. General Paper teacher Mrs. Schroader and World History teacher Mrs. Saget were this year’s judges.
Even some teachers were dressed up. Chorus teacher Mr. Andreacchio was dressed up as Mr. Krupa, and Mrs. Kouf was Little Red Riding Hood.
At the end of the day, students rushed home for the events that would take place at night. Whether it be parties, going out to trick-or-treat, or preparing bowls of candy to hand out to trick-or-treaters, Halloween was an eventful night for the Chiefs.
