Chiefs Paint the Streets
Every Spring I look forward to going to downtown Lake Worth and looking at all the beautiful art work that floods the streets. All different artists, young and old, come to display their talents on the streets.
Santaluces has always had a big footprint at the street painting festival for years. This year, the Vis Tech, National Art Honor Society, and Key Club all participated. In total, Santaluces had ten pieces. Mr. Badome painted The Joker holding a lightsaber, a piece that had people stopping in their tracks to take a look. A group of NAHS members painted two wolves howling at the moon.
“The street painting festival was a crazy experience because you got to meet all these fantastic and whacky artists that love their medium,” said junior Patrik Sadej. “It’s definitely an experience I would recommend to anybody.”
Hello, my name is Savannah Devericks. This year I am a senior at Santaluces. I've been on the varsity swim team for three years. I enjoy listening to rock...
