This school year, Mr.Gray was pleased to host Santaluces’ 10th Annual AP Psych Brain Expo. Located in the Little Theater and available for students to see during both lunches, an array of Mr.Gray’s talented pupils designed and presented a project, describing and explaining the brain parts of a character of their choice.
While speaking with Mr.Gray, he expresses, “The reason we do an expo is for students to get an opportunity to showcase their projects and practice their presentation skills in a low risk platform.” He continues, “This is a performance based assessment task which allows the students to demonstrate their knowledge outside of the traditional testing format.”
Viewing and voting on your favorite projects makes the whole expo fun for everybody, with students interacting and asking questions about the projects and learning new things. If you weren’t able to make it to the expo and are curious to see the clever projects presented, don’t worry, we took lots of photos!
