Last Thursday, October 30th, Mr. Gray put on his 12th annual AP Psychology Brain Expo! Each student was tasked with a project, to select a specific brain structure and pair it with a celebrity whose behaviours reflect that function. From memory and sensory processing in your temporal lobe to creativity and decision-making in the prefrontal cortex, every project offered new and fun, unexpected ways to bring psychology to life.
By connecting the complex brain processes to familiar figures, students were able to gain a deeper personal understanding of how the brain works. The Brain Expo continues to transform learning into an interactive and imaginative experience that they can be proud of!
