The Jungle book premiered April 15, 2016. The Jungle Book earned a 94% on Rotten Tomatoes.

The Jungle Book has shocked the film industry with a huge opening weekend in the box office earning 103.5 million dollars. The Jungle Book surpassed movies such as: Barbershop: The Next Cut, The Boss and Batman v Superman.  The Jungle Book worldwide has grossed 294.1 million dollars and is expected to surpass 300 million today.

The Jungle Book’s wild opening beat every Disney live-action film remake since the 2010 Alice in Wonderland remake. The Jungle Book was filmed by Jon Favreau and written by Rudyard Kipling.

The cast features Scarlett Johansson and Bill Murray, they hoped to recreate the magic of the original Jungle Book who premiered in 1967.

The Jungle Book’s plot features Mowgli who is played by Neel Sethi who was raised by a pack of wolves since his birth,  now he must leave the only place he has ever called home when a powerful tiger, Shere Khan played by Idris Elba unleashes his frightening roar.

Mowgli is paired with a no-nonsense panther (Ben Kingsley) and a careless bear (Bill Murray).The young boy, Mowgli encounters a copious amount of jungle animals throughout his journey, that includes a sneaky python and a sweet talking ape.

Along the journey, Mowgli learns crucial life lessons along his life changing journey of his inner self leads to Mowgli’s adventure.

The Jungle Book is a must see movie.
