As Columbia Pictures is having its 100th anniversary, many web-heads are delighted to hear that the live-action Spider-Man films are going to be rereleasing in theaters every Monday starting April 15th, including Sam Raimi’s trilogy, the Amazing Spider-Man films, and the MCU Spider-Man trilogy. While the two Spider-Verse films, nor the recent origin movies like the Venom films won’t be welcomed back into theaters, here is everything you need to know if you want to see Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland on the big screen.
Spider-Man (2002) through Spider-Man 3 (2007), also known as the Raimi trilogy, starring Tobey Maguire will be first to release. Note that all films will only premiere on that Monday, so tickets are relatively limited
- Spider-Man (2002) – April 15th
- Spider-Man 2 (2004) – April 22nd
- Spider-Man 3 (2007) – April 29th
The Amazing Spider-Man films (sadly not a trilogy, but I digress) will be up next. Directed by Mark Webb and starring Andrew Garfield, these films hold a place in many’s hearts as their favorite Spider-Man films.
- The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) – May 6th
- The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014) – May 13th
The most recent Spider-Man films present in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), aka the Home trilogy, will be the final films shown. These were directed by Jon Watts and star the wildly popular Tom Holland as New York’s resident hero. The final film brings together all three web-heads for an exciting conclusion to the trilogy and sets up a new trilogy for Tom to play in.
- Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) – May 20th
- Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019) – May 27th
- Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021) – June 3rd
