Fans Awaiting the Hamilton Mixtape Release

The Hamilton Mixtape was first announced by Lin-Manuel Miranda, creator of the hit musical Hamilton, in March. Now, the mixtape is set to be released before the end of this year and fans are having a mixed feeling toward it but mostly everyone is excited for the new flavor added in each sensational songs.

The musical Hamilton is about the founding father Alexander Hamilton. This musical depicts Hamilton’s struggle in America as an immigrant and the failures, successes ,and fights he went through in his life. Miranda fuses theatrical aspect with hip-hop, transforming theater all around the world. The play has been out since February 17, 2015 until now. People have been immersed and mesmerized by this astounding and genius work because of its diversity and originality. Its fame keeps soaring until to this day from its epic cabinet rap battles, to somber ballads, to up-beat inspirational songs.

Lin Manuel Miranda said that he wasn’t planning on appearing on the tape. He told Vanity Fair, “I’m not going to be on it because, for me, the goal is to keep this inspired by the original,” referring to the original musical.

Right now, two new songs are available to stream. The heartbreaking and somber ballad, “It’s Quiet Uptown,” sung by Kelly Clarkson. Also, Busta Rhymes, Jeoll Ortiz, and Nate Ruess tackles “My Shot” with a newly refine remix and mind blowing triplet rhythms without straying far off the original track. You can pre-order the mixtape right now, but the whole mixtape will officially available on December 2 just in time for Christmas. This will be a perfect Christmas present to Hamilton fanatics out there.
