Guts World Tour 2024

Olivia Rodrigo released her new album GUTS on September 8th, 2023. Now she is touring the world singing songs for all her adoring fans. The GUTS World Tour began on February 23, 2024, and she will perform until August 17, 2024. I went to her concert in Miami on March 7th, and it was an amazing experience.

The concert began with an amazing performance from Chappell Roan, the opener for the tour. Chappel has a smaller fanbase than Olivia so not everyone knew her songs, but she is such an amazing performer that her energy made up for what the crowd lacked. She even has a dance she taught the crowd during her song “HOT TO GO!

When Chappell left, a video of candles spelling out the word guts appeared on the screen behind the stage. As the candles burned the anticipation grew. When the last flame finally went out and Olivia appeared, the crowd went wild. Olivia commented multiple times that Miami was one of the loudest audiences she had ever heard, and even had a contest to see which part of the stadium was the loudest.

Seeing Olivia perform live would be a magical experience no matter what, but her Miami show was extra special. It was her guitarist, Emily Rosenfield’s, birthday and she had the audience sing “Happy Birthday” with her. The concert was also the first time she ever performed her song “Can’t Catch Me Now,” from the new movie The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, live.

Olivia Rodrigo is an amazing performer and excitement radiates off of her making it impossible not to have a great time. I loved the concert, and think that seeing her live is something all of her fans should get to experience.

Hi! I'm Liliana, but people call me Lily. I'm a Sophomore and this is my first year working with The Tribe. I have a minor obsession with dying my hair and like to change the color often. I like to read, watch movies, and hang out with my friends. This is my second year in the Culinary Arts program and I love to bake.
