On January first, I had the opportunity to go see Rod Wave perform at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida. Rod Wave began his tour on December seventh of 2025, in Los Angeles, and ended it on January second of 2026, in Miami. He brought out YK Niece, Loe Shimmy, and YTB Fatt out as openers for each show. Throughout the entire tour, Rod Wave touched many fans with the songs he played and his performances.

Rod Wave’s music not only speaks to me but speaks to many others across the world. He sold out stadiums almost everywhere he went during the tour, which shows how great of an artist he is. For January first and second, he decided to play an older song of his named “Get a Bag”. He made this song years ago, back when he was more popular in Florida. Rod played songs like “Westside Connection, 2018,” and brought Sadie Jean out for her part, and Street Runner, bringing Ruth B. out as well. Overall, I believe that Rod Wave had a great outcome on this tour. He made sure to give his openers and the other people he brought out their props for coming out and helping contribute to the show. I had an amazing time at his concert and think that this was a great way to start my new year. I got to sing my heart out, eat good food, and have a good time with my friend!
