Over Winter Break, my group of friends and I decided to go horseback riding for my 18th birthday. We went to a place called Wondering Trails off of PGA Blvd in Palm Beach Gardens. An hour-long trail ride cost $30 and $65 for a two-hour trail ride. The trail goes through the woods on a property that is beautifully lit with an interesting landscape of shrubs and trees.

This was an incredibly entertaining experience. For my friend Harley, it was his first time ever riding a horse. He was less nervous than I expected, but it was still funny watching him trot on a horse for the first time and getting his horse to stop eating. My other friends also enjoyed the leisurely ride.

“Horse back ridding was an interesting experience for me,” said Dylan Holland. “I haven’t been horseback riding since I was a little kid and it brought back some good memories when I went again.”

If you have never been horseback riding, this is definitely something that you should try. Horseback riding is a fun way to explore nature. Horses are gentle giants and don’t mind walking around with you on their back.
