This anticipated collaboration has had fans waiting after first being released internationally. These toys combine the Hello Kitty friends with Yu-Gi-Oh characters, getting the best of both worlds. You can receive these toys in the McDonald’s Happy Meal, which includes a 4-piece chicken nugget, a 6-piece chicken nugget, or a cheeseburger. It also comes with apple slices, water, milk or small soda, kid’s french fries, and of course the Yu-Gi-Oh x Hello Kitty Happ Meal toy.

However, there was a little controversy as the US release left out one important character, Badtz-maru as the Red-Eyes Black Dragon. This specific toy is only available internationally, and no one knows why. Many fans were outraged that they did not include this toy and took to social media to voice their opinion.
These toys have been in so much demand that they have a secondary market on other selling platforms where you can buy the whole set of 9 for around $100. Since this collab is limited time only, you must act fast and collect as many as you can since they won’t be around forever. I have personally collected 8 out of the 9 toys and am excited to finish my collection. I have had so much fun hunting for them at various locations and getting that thrill of opening your Happy Meal and seeing which toy you received.
