This past Friday at Boca High School was the annual Regionals swim meet. Swimmers from as far south as Plantation and as far north as Jupiter all came to compete in this high stakes competition in the hopes of winning a spot at States.
Victoria Konsavage was the only student from Santaluces to make it to regionals for the third year in a row. She competed in the 50 Free and the 100 fly. In the 50 free, Konsavage dropped her time down to 25.90 and placed 10th overall. In the 100 fly, she swam hard and gave it her all.
All swimmers who placed first and second overall in their event automatically moved onto states. Then from the four regions in Florida, the swimmers with the fastest times were also invited to states.
