Homecoming is closer than you might think. In less than three weeks, the gym will be decorated at every corner with all things Disney. Homecoming contracts have begun being handed out during both lunches. The tickets for Homecoming will begin going on sale Monday September 8 and the prices for tickets will start at $25.

If you want to be nominated for Homecoming court, you will have to be nominated by a teacher.

“You will have to show you are an exemplary chief, “ said Mrs. Orndroff.

This year’s Homecoming dance will be held Saturday, September 27, instead of having it after the game on Friday like last year. It will be held from 7 to 11:30 pm in the gym.

Homecoming week will be 4 days, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, there will be no school on Thursday due to the Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashana. This year, students will have the opportunity to have a say in the themes they want for Tuesday and Wednesday.

So far, SGA has decided for monday to be “Disney day” and for Friday to be “Spirit day.”

“Homecoming is going to be so good, you’ll need to have a break,” says Mrs. Orndroff.
