Little Chiefs, Smaller Pumpkins

Gillian Corallo, Staff Writer

The little chiefs painted pumpkins with their favorite characters on them for Halloween.

As this event occurs every year, Early Childhood acquired the pumpkins from the pumpkin patch run by the band. All of the proceeds went towards the band to pay for future music and trips.

“We are very fortunate to have the academies work so well together,” said Mrs. Kouf. “While I am able to let the kids have new experiences, the band benefits from the fundraising.”

Students within the Early Childhood academy helped the little chiefs decorate the pumpkins and had a fun time doing it.

“The kids got to pick their own designs and pumpkins,” said Senior Olivia Tisher. “It was so fun.”

The pumpkins are on display in the Main Office for all students and staff to see.
