The first Black History Month Tribute will be held this year on February 28th in the Little Theater. This is the first show of its kind to feature poetry, song, step, and more in honor of Black History Month.

Students who are interested in performing must attend a meeting on Wednesday, February 15th from 2:50 to 5:00pm in the Lecture Hall. Prospective participants can come with performances prepared, or Ms. Latham can provide students with poems or songs from influential black artists.

Due to limited seating in the Little Theater, admission will be ticket based. Tickets for free admission will be given to performers first for their family members to attend. Once those tickets are disbursed, they will be open to other students.

Ms. Latham decided to sponsor the show after realizing black history month needs more recognition on campus. Visit Ms. Latham in room 8115 for more details.
