American Horror Story: What Could Be Next?

Savannah Devericks, Staff Writer

Now that summer is over and fall is already upon us, new seasons of our favorite shows are finally on their way. On September 14, 2016, FX will be releasing it’s sixth installment of its series American Horror Story. Fans should know that the series is an anthology and each season has its own story and characters. In years past, American Horror Story would announce what the theme of their upcoming seasons not long before the show would air.  In other seasons we have seen Murder House, Asylum, Coven, Freak Show and lastly Hotel.

The creators of the show are leaving their fans puzzled by releasing creepy and confusing teasers that don’t connect into a smooth development. Some of the teasers are actually about the new season, but others were made to throw fans off.

Some fans have theories that the newest season will be about the lost colony of Roanoke. Some of the teasers look like they could be connect to this idea, but there is no official comment from FX themselves. Other believe it could be a old time hollywood horror theme because of the teasers with a woman being dragged away by an unrealistic swamp monster.

Personally, I hope that the newest theme would be about the lost colony of Roanoke.

No mater what American Horror story comes up with, I’m sure that all fans new and old will appreciate the newest theme.

“American Horror Story gives the vintage vibe like old thriller movies, but in a continuous series,” said senior Dylan Holland. “I’m very excited to see what new season’s theme will be about and how they’ll improve from last year.”
