This song of the week is “Dirty Laundry” by Blackbear. This song comes off of his Dead Roses album which was released in 2015. The genre of this song is a mix between alternative and hip hop. In this song, Blackbear talks about how his girlfriend does not trust him enough to be with him because of his past. He uses the words ‘dirty laundry’ which does not actually mean dirty laundry, but refers to all the bad secrets he’s kept from her. The song is pretty much a plea to his girlfriend for her to give him a chance and prove her all wrong.

Blackbear is one of my favorite artists and this is by far one of his best songs. If you’re ever taking a cruise in your car, play this song. It’s not too upbeat, but not too slow. It’s perfect to listen to when you’re getting ready and with the smoothness of his voice you for sure will fall in love with him.
