Need money for college? Complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) form to apply for financial aid. Through FAFSA, students are able to obtain grants, work study, student loans and scholarships all which can be used to pay for college. This year FAFSA has introduced two new ways to fill out the form including a mobile app and a mobile friendly version of the fafsa.gov website making it more accessible to many students. This application works on a first come first serve basis so it is very important to fill out the FAFSA early in order to maximize the amount of aid a student can receive. It opens up October 1st, 2018 and the federal deadline is June 30, 2019.
