Yesterday, May 2nd, was the annual Xcite spring concert at Santaluces Community High School. Students have been practicing the amazing performances showcased since the beginning of the second semester, and you can tell how hard they worked. Ms. Agaoglu (Ms.A), Mr. Frezin, and Mr. Spiner worked together to create and organize this wonderful concert.
Santaluces’ Jazz Band, Color Guard, Chorus, Concert Band, Sax Quartet, Flute Trio, and Latin Dance Team all participated in this event. The chorus performed as a group, “Illuminations”, and individual members performed solo songs and duets. Santaluces students who were part of their own bands also performed, including the band Reverse Oreo. There was even a special performance where Mr.Spinner joined a band to sing an original song. Other special acts included a rap by Jason Pierre and a music video made by Fiona Clifton to a song written by her and Mattew Yespy.
