“It was sophomore year and we had a big game against Lake Worth High. Coach put me in and I made a touchdown, a receive from about 125 yards. The crowd went crazy. The next week when I came to school my teacher informed me that I made it in the Palm Beach Post. As soon as read the short article about me I took a picture of it sent it to my mommy, my grandma, and my uncle. I showed almost everyone I know. My coach also [saw] the article and he started putting me in the game a lot more. I then began to start on my team. It was all so exciting to me, it made me a better player.”
