Recently, we had the chance to interview Junior Jorge Bravo. He plays center attacking midfield in soccer and has been into the sport for years. During his free time, he says he mostly just eats food and spends time with his “mean girlfriend“. This shows he’s just a chill guy who likes playing soccer. Here are some of the questions that we asked him:
What’s a moment in soccer that changed the way you see yourself?
“When I broke my foot, it made me realize that one little accident could affect the way I play. I was stuck in the house, and it made me realize my routine depends on soccer.”
What are your training days like?
“Running, drills, physicality, discussing, and I end my day with protein”
What do you do after a bad game to reset mentally?
“I go out to eat to calm my mind. I usually get Starbucks after.”
How do you balance your soccer life and school life?
“I make sure to turn in all work on time. I talk to my teachers if I need more time also. I make sure to have discipline for myself.”
What’s something soccer has taught you that you use in real life?
“Discipline, time management, physical fitness, and to get things done without thought.”
If you had to describe your playing style in three words, what would they be and why?
“I would say simple, affective, and reliable.”
