Suite 360 is a charterer and development program for parents, teachers, students, and even your neighbor next door. Suite 360 is a program for anybody who needs extra support with conduct and behavior. It includes many topics such as cyber-bullying, education, anger management, and social-emotional learning.
Suite 360 is a program used throughout many school districts and studies have shown that it has increased in climate rating. As of December 1st, 2019, the Florida State Board Of Education mandates students to receive a minimum of 5 hours of mental health. Studies say that It’s estimated that 1 million people suffer from mental health or a form of disorder and 75% of them do not receive treatment.
Some of the most common reasons as to why some don’t receive treatments are shame and fear. Many people don’t utilize mental health services because of judgment, doubt, pride, and embarrassment. Mental illness in our society is treated with negative stigma and misconceptions and it needs to stop.
One of my peers of mine, a 12th grader, suffers from depression and anxiety. She says, “Depression and anxiety bring me down sometimes. It kind of just hits you out of nowhere. The best thing I did was to seek help. If you’re suffering from mental health, don’t be afraid to speak up.”
She says her mental health started around middle school after a personal incident happened with one of her family members. “Don’t be afraid to make friends or speak to somebody you trust. It’s good talking to somebody because it keeps my mind off of so many things,” she says.
A student says, “Suite 360 comes in handy and it’s so helpful. It has everything you need and it kind of shows you that you’re not alone. It’s so many different people, even celebrities, that go through mental health problems.”
Suite 360 can change and improve lives in so many ways. There are so many people out there that go through mental health issues that don’t know about Suite 360 and what it can do for them.
If you know anybody suffering from any type of mental health problem, introduce them to Suite 360. Talk to them, make them feel comfortable, and let them know it’ll be fine.
