Extra Terrestrial Kanye West: Saint Pablo Tour Review

A review of Kanye’s Miami concert

For the 13th stop on Kanye West’s Saint Pablo tour, he landed in Miami. I bought my tickets the day before, and surprisingly, there were tickets left over. The sold-out show was hosted in the American Airline Arena. Kanye performed most of the songs from his most recent album, The Life of Pablo. He performed songs from other notable albums like, Yeezus, Graduation, Late Registration, 808’s and Heartbreak, Watch the Thrown, Cruel Summer, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and confusingly, the song Pop Style from Drake’s recent album,Views.

A magical moment of the night was when Kanye ordered the audience below him from his spaceship-esc stage to form a circle in mosh-pit like fashion. The crowd quickly assembled to form the circle and as soon as the bass dropped on the song Freestyle 4, his fans went wild, including myself. We danced and jumped into each other in complete bliss as Kanye looked on in astonishment from his motherboard.

Another moment was when Kanye serenaded his wife, Kim Kardashian West, who was in attendance among the seated crowd. He sang his song Only One that was inspired by his mother who died 10 years and recently born daughter, NorthWest.

Near the end of the night, he began singing Runaway. The song lead into a segment where Kanye encouraged the crowd to love and appreciate the love that some have for you. He then noticed a fan below him with a tattoo of the album art for Runaway. Kanye then begged her to tell him her name as he was moved to tears. The crowd then screamed “Crystal!” and he then ended the song serenading her.

The night ended with his song, Ultralight Beam as he miraculously disappeared from his stage.
